ItsAllHereSyracuse.com and the Syracuse branding campaign were created by 40 Below, an independent group of volunteers who strive to make our community a better place to live, work and play. The purpose of the Syracuse branding campaign is to retain the talent we have here by creating an identity and instilling a sense of pride in our region. Syracuse is a great place to live. We know it. We hope you will too.
Created in 2004, 40 Below has hosted three summits to date - bringing the largest young professional summits in our nation’s history to Syracuse. That means more than 630 attendees in 2004 and more than 1,100 in 2005. At the summits, young professionals, artists, entrepreneurs and citizens came together to share their thoughts on how to improve Syracuse and in 2007 actually took to the streets to turn words into action.
With more than 5,000 comments captured at the first 40 Below Summit alone, 40 Below authored its Action Agenda (pdf), bringing attendees suggestions to life. One of the major concerns that surfaced was a lack of an identity and positive marketing of our region. The campaign “Live it. Love it. It’s All Here.” is a step in the right direction.
