Upstate New York photographer Neil Chowdhury will create two works for the Window Projects at The Warehouse Gallery: New digital photomontages (to fit the dimensions of the three windows) addressing contemporary India as well as clichés and his own origins, and a multichannel video installation (displayed in the Window Projects space) consisting of rapid successions of still frames taken during his travel to Mumbai in 2008. A soundtrack composed of a mixture of Indian classical music and Hindi pop music will set the atmosphere of the installation to allude to his personal experience when walking through major cities in India.

Open and free to the public. Gallery hours: Tue-Sat noon- 6PM; th3 noon -8PM; closed on holidays. Limited parking is available in The Warehouse Lot (WHSE), call SU Parking Services for details (315) 443-4652. The gallery is on the Connective Corridor Free Shuttle Route, see Centro#543.
