Blue Rain ECOfest Green Drinks Happy Hour

Green Drinks Syracuse, the sustainability-focused happy hour, will take place at the BlueRain ECOfest Saturday, July 30th from 5-7pm. Hosted by 40 Below’s “It’s All Here” campaign, Syracuse First, the Sustainable Upstate Network (SUN), and Leadership Greater Syracuse, this Green Drinks brings together green businesses and residents interested in growing a green Central New York.

Green Drinks in July will be located at Prime Steakhouse (101 E Water St., Syracuse, NY 13202, (315) 299-8047). Small plates and a roasting station will be provided in the gorgeously renovated exposed brick interior at Prime. Come discuss the new Syracuse and people-watch on the patio. Local brew and drink specials will be on offer.

Blue Rain ECOfest in Hanover Square in downtown Syracuse takes place July 29-31st. The 3rd year of the festival, located between the mega Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival and the giant Arts & Crafts festival, features booths promoting green businesses, technology, and environmentally-focused organizations. Last year we witnessed alternative fuel vehicle test drives and rain barrel demonstrations. The restaurants that ring Hanover Square participate by offering locavore/seasonal menus.
