If you are looking for a pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, culinary variety, and gourmet food at reasonable prices, then Daniel's Grill in Marcellus is the spot for you.

We all know that individual tastes vary from person to person, but trust me when I tell you that if you can't find something you like at Daniel's it just doesn't exist. I have been going there for about a year now and it is quite clear to me that this is the hidden gem of CNY dining. Everything they make at Daniel's seems to be as fresh as you can get. It's amazing to think that a small restaurant in Marcellus, NY can get the seafood and steaks that Daniel's can get.

Your table is provided with hot, fresh bread and butter that you can actually spread without ripping a hole in the bread. For an appetizer I recommend the "Pot Stickers". They are fabulous and have both American and Japanese flair. For a main entree, be sure to listen carefully during the specials. My favorite special was the Maple Glazed Fresh Salmon. It was by far the most delicious Salmon dish I've ever had. You can't go wrong with any of the steak dishes either. I can't say enough about the presentation and flavor. For dessert be sure to try the Chocolate Lava Cake.....it's to die for!

You can get all of these items and get them at a reasonable price. I can't remember ever paying over $20 for any entree, regardless of what it was. What really makes this restaurant special are the personal touches that they put on your visit. The attentive and personable waitstaff makes the visit almost worry free and when the owner/chef comes out personally to ensure your lamb, duck, slamon, or steak is cooked just right it makes you feel like a big shot. The owners wife runs the front of the restaurant flawlessly and she does it all with a smile. I recommend going to Daniel's on a Friday or Saturday and making a reservation.

When it's all said and done it might be a bit of a car drive, but it'll be worth it. Enjoy!
