Women Transcending Boundaries, under a grant from the Central New York Community Foundation, is inviting your organization and many others (including faith-based, civic, educational and business groups) to join us in a weekend of volunteerism and community building. This exciting weekend will provide many opportunities for networking among groups across the city - highlighting the extraordinary work already being done in addition to attracting more volunteers to expand the current service projects and create new ones!

Kids Fun Run at the Strathmore Parks RunThe PARKS RUN is a 4 mile run/walk event sponsored by the Greater Strathmore Neighborhood Association on Sunday, September 26 at 2:00pm. It starts in picturesque Onondaga Park , goes through some of the historic neighborhood, visits the Woodland Reservoir, and finishes back in Onondaga Park. It is a great event for all ages and there also is a kids fun run at approx. 3:00pm.

Recognized as one of the world’s most accomplished jazz musicians, Marsalis, along with his band, will take the stage for a performance during SU Family Weekend. A three-time Grammy winner from one of the world’s most distinguished musical families, Marsalis is known for his innovative spirit and broad musical scope.

Equally at home on the stages of the world’s greatest clubs and concert halls, Marsalis has performed jazz with his quartet. He adds his own unique musical approach to contemporary popular music with his band Buckshot LeFonque.
