Last night I saw "Spike Heels" at Syracuse Stage and it was a riot! With a packed theatre, it was so much fun to laugh along with the crowd while taking advantage of our own professional theatre here in Syracuse (which, by the way, having a professional theatre is something to be proud of!).

What drew me to this play was a chance to have a fun night out with the girls, as the play focused on "relationships - 'where even smart people are not so smart when it comes to love' - and shoes!" What girl wouldn't want to check it out?

The playwrite, Theresa Rebeck, also wrote last year’s comic delight "Bad Dates," which a group of us gals also saw - a "Sex and the City" type story that followed one women's quest for love (and all of the bad dates that came along with it) in the big city.

Syracuse Stage has a plethora of productions every season, however, that are tailored interest a wide range of folks, so check out their site and see what else that they are producing catches your fancy!
