Volunteers Needed for Earth Day Cleanup in Downtown Syracuse!

The Downtown Committee is organizing an Earth Day Cleanup on Saturday, April 17th and wants you to volunteer!

As stakeholders of our community, we can play an important role in safeguarding and maintaining our urban environment. We ask that you, your employees, co-workers, friends and family volunteer a few hours of your time on Saturday, April 17th, to help give downtown Syracuse a spring cleaning. Each of us can make a difference.

We’ll provide the trash bags, gloves, t-shirts and a continental breakfast to get you started. The cleanup will run from 8:30am through 12:30pm and volunteers will start at staggered times, depending on your flexibility and availability that day. Lunch will be provided to volunteers following the cleanup at a specified location at noon.
